Before you come!
Is there an age limit?
Yes. Our challenge rooms are designed to be fun for everyone over the age of 5 (whilst accompanied by a responsible adult of course!)
How does it all work?
Get assigned a set of 5 challenge rooms - your goal is to score as many points as you can! When you enter a room, you will be briefed on the objective for each room. Your team will have a set time in each room to score as many points as possible before moving to the next room
Can I just turn up?
You can, but fun stuff sells out fast, and we only have a very limited number of walk-ins available. We advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
What should I wear?
Some of our challenges require you move around the room to score as many points as possible within the time limit. Because of this, we recommend you wear clothes that you can comfortably get active in. We're not talking a marathon, think more like a vigorous game of musical chairs.
Sorry, you might have to leave the ball gown and high heels at home for this stay!

Do I need to bring my ID?Please note: everyone will need a valid form of ID to enter the venue after 8pm

Can I bring the kids?Under 18's are permitted at Hijinx Hotel Canberra until 8pm. Prior to this time, we request that pre-teens and younger children are accompanied by a responsible adult. Check out our House Rules for more info.

What can we do before and after our activities?Chill our at our hotel bar, grab some delicious food, grab an amazing cocktail, visit our mates Holey Moley Golf Club for even more fun, or you know, normal social interaction with your mates.

What time should we arrive for our booking?Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your booked in session so we can brief you on the game play, show you to your room and have you playing as soon as possible.
However, you're welcome to arrive earlier than this to give you time to try our Hijinx Hotel cocktails, drinks and food before you play!
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, due to the nature of the games at Hijinx Hotel, we are unable to accommodate late arrivals.
