Getting to our venue

Parking

Hijinx Hotel is located on Level 2 of Westfield Mt Gravatt Shopping Centre (near the Food Court). For guests travelling by car, 3 hour free parking is available at Westfield and the best place for guest to park is Westfield's Orange Car Park, with entry just off Kessel Road.

Alternatively, Westfield's Red Car Park is accessible via Macgregor Street and is also close to our venue.

Public Transport

With Westfield Mt Gravatt connected to one of Brisbane's largest bus stations, guest from all around can easily get to us by the following bus routes:

Buses - 120, 122, 174, 180, 545, 578, 598, 599

Once you've check into Hijinx Hotel for your play, not stay experience, why not kick things off with a world-class cocktail from our bar, or grab some classic beers and wines, the choice is yours! Once you're ready for some food either before or after your set of challenge rooms, hit our menu packed full of delicious pizzas, tacos, burgers and much more.

With Hijinx Hotel's inspiration coming from a 1920's New York Hotel, hitting our bar will really feel like a whole other-worldly experience!

Before you come!

Is there an age limit?
Yes. Our challenge rooms are designed to be fun for everyone over the age of 5 (whilst accompanied by a responsible adult of course!)
How does it all work?
Get assigned a set of 5 challenge rooms - your goal is to score as many points as you can! When you enter a room, you will be briefed on the objective for each room. Your team will have a set time in each room to score as many points as possible before moving to the next room
Can I just turn up?
You can, but fun stuff sells out fast, and we only have a very limited number of walk-ins available. We advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
What should I wear?
Some of our challenges require you move around the room to score as many points as possible within the time limit. Because of this, we recommend you wear clothes that you can comfortably get active in. We're not talking a marathon, think more like a vigorous game of musical chairs.

Sorry, you might have to leave the ball gown and high heels at home for this stay!

FAQ

Do I need to bring my ID

Everyone entering Hijinx Hotel Mt Gravatt from 9pm onward is required to have ID.

All guests must have ID on them when purchasing alcoholic beverages.

Can I bring the kids?

Under 18's are permitted into our Hijinx Hotel venue until 9pm, after this time, it is an adult only venue.

Before 8pm, pre-teens and younger children must come accompanied by a responsible adult.

What can we do before and after our activities?

Whether it's before or after your challenge rooms, chill at our Hijinx Hotel bar and enjoy some delicious food, drink, cocktails and snacks.

If you're looking for more fun activities, head over to friends at Holey Moley Golf Club for some easy swingin' mini golf!

What time should we arrive for our booking?

Guests are requested to arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled challenge room session. This is to allow our team to brief you on the rooms/gameplay and to allow for your session to move in a timely manner!

Feel free to pop in even earlier for some delicious food and drink, or take a stroll around our mesmerising 1920's New York Hotel venue. How about some Hijinx Hotel slippers?

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, given the nature of our rooms and the presence of other guests, we cannot accomodate late arrivals.
